The censoring of women's health information is not only misogynistic but contributes to shame and prohibits important health information from getting to those that need it most.

It’s #FreeThePill Day! We’re calling for a future where everyone can make their own #ReproHealth decisions & access essential care—including contraception. It’s time for an over-the-counter #BirthControl pill that’s fully covered by insurance & available without age restrictions!
This is a health equity issue! For young people, being able to get birth control pills right off the shelf at a local pharmacy or grocery store would remove some of the unnecessary barriers that keep them out of reach. #FreeThePill
Here's what the medical professionals have to say ⬇️
Progestin-only birth control pills are safe and effective, and people want over-the-counter access to them. Period. #FreeThePill
Let's be real-the entire case was based on medically inaccurate BS peddled by anti-abortion extremists.
#Mifepristone is part of a safe and effective regimen for abortion care, and has been safely used by millions since it was approved over 20 years ago.
BREAKING: The Supreme Court just issued a stay in the medication abortion case, which means that access to mifepristone remains for now.
This is good news, but the facts remain the same: Access to mifepristone should never have been in jeopardy in the first place.

Safety of queer kids >>>
Adults can support queer kids by recognizing that any discomfort they might feel is insignificant compared to the barriers, discrimination, and safety issues queer youth face.
Can we talk about this Healthy Love Bus that @SisterLoveInc has started? Delivering care to pregnancy-capable folks via mobile clinic? 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Documentaries and movies are great ways to learn about public health topics. She's Beautiful When She's Angry is one of my favorites. What are you favorite films that highlight Public Health issues?

It's long-passed time to #FreeThePill and have birth control pills on the shelves, just like condoms and Plan B are now.
Tell the FDA to schedule a hearing! Young people need this now more than ever! @US_FDA@HHSGov

Words are crucial! It is important that we, as researchers, are intentional with our word choices so that our messages can be understandable to the people who need to hear them the most! Get rid of the jargon and make scientific findings approachable.
