Media Framing of Crime Along Ethnic Lines: Divisive.
As an Igbo man, I have endured stereotypes, judgment, and labelling solely based on my ethnic origins. This is not an isolated Igbo experience. Most Nigerians have, at some point, been reduced to their ethnicity rather than recognised for their true character.
I understand the pain of the ordinary Fulani man today, often unfairly judged by the actions of criminals he does not support, has never met, and who are not representative of his people.
Even in America, such unjust labelling fueled the civil rights movement and prompted Martin Luther King Jr. to declare that people should be judged by the content of their character, not the colour of their skin.
Every Nigerian ethnic group is known for its unique traditions, occupations, skills, and strengths. Crime, however, has no ethnicity. A thief is a thief. A terrorist is a terrorist. A kidnapper is a kidnapper. They are bad actors, not representatives of any people. They must be identified, arrested, and punished according to the law.
We must decisively abandon the dangerous practice of blaming entire ethnic groups for the actions of a few criminals. It is unjust, it breeds hatred, and it damages our national unity.
Let us proudly celebrate our diverse cultures, talents, and contributions, rather than falling prey to stereotypes and prejudices that politicians and divisive interests exploit for their gain.
A new Nigeria must emerge—one where no citizen is condemned because of tribe, religion, or birthplace. We can cherish our cultural roots while standing united by justice, mutual respect, and hope for a better future. We are capable of this.
A new Nigeria is within our reach. -PO
8 Nigerian soldiers were beheaded by terrorists.
There is no Declaration of War. No declaration of State of Emergency. No flags flown at half-staff. No National address from the President.
Everywhere is quiet. The soldiers died for nothing! The heroes of Nigeria are no more! 💔
Watch Till The End, You Haven’t Seen This Video Before: “Nigerians, The Government You’re Hoping Will Come And Save You From These Terror!sts/B@ndits Is The Same Government Arming Them To K!ll You. APC Is The Sponsor Of Terror!sm And Insecur!ty In Nigeria.” ~ Mazi Nnamdi Kanu Reveals
Why does the President hardly ever address the nation despite the relentless insurgency, kidnappings, and insecurity that Nigerians face every day?
People are being killed. Children are being abducted. Communities are living in fear.
In many countries, leaders speak directly to their citizens during moments of crisis to reassure them, explain actions being taken, and show that they understand the pain of the people.
The silence is becoming as disturbing as the insecurity itself.
Are Nigerians not human beings?
Nnamdi Kanu has gained many admirers ever since Tinubu's regime jailed him.
They thought a jail sentence would silence him, but his old broadcasts have given him huge validation.
He's in jail, but happenings ALL OVER NIGERIA are echoing his voice.
Light won!💡

I personally want Obi as Nigeria’s president so people can see that you can be upright, be respectful, be a Nigerian, be law-abiding, have no criminal case and still win in Nigeria. Obi’s presidency is good for Nigeria’s moral compass.
"Picks"? You clowns have audacity. That's the Director-General of the World Trade Organization and the first woman and African to hold that position that you're talking about, yet you're assuming she would allow herself to be "picked" by a failure who has never headed any executive office.
This is why I think we deserved every treatment we got from the whites when they were still colonizing us, even up to the 21st century many Nigerians still act like the monkey whites referred to us as.
A good majority of the monkeys are even wiser than the avg Nigeria.
Tinubu: "And so... the groundnut oil must never run before sgidoksvhdb 'cause where do we go from there...?"
Idiots: 👏👏👏👏👏
Obi: "If you look at our energy production capacity, we are just at 43% of our potential"
Idiots: "Lol. This is why I said Obi can never be president. We are at 45%, not 43%. All this man does is lie. How do we put our country in the hands of someone who always falsifies figures to prove a point?"
I cried after I saw the clip of Fulani terrorists taking turns to rape their victims
Woke up crying this morning.
I am not okay, these women are never going to be okay again, Nigeria is not okay, and the leaders have failed us.
Breaking 💯
The truth about the Biafra #Genocide and the Aburi agreement by Mazi Nnamdi kanu ( Ipob Leader). More than 5 million Biafrans were killed by the Nigeria government and their collaborators
Tinubu will agree to hand over Yoruba lands to Fulani and they will give him president and take over Yoruba ancestry lands .
Mazi Nnamdi kanu 😎
