I went to a few faivaan fihaaras and a basic slipper’s like 400rf on average, the same one I got from Thailand for 250THB (around 118rf retail).

Here’s video evidence of how severe and bullying is in Maldives. A 13 year old was physically abused & bullied inside a mosque during tharaaves tonight & not a single word from Gender Minister @aishathshiham yet.

It’s important people see this to fully realise and understand how bad the situation is in this country. If they don’t see a picture or video, then it never happened. People only believe things in this country when they see a picture or a video. For example, if there is no video or photo of a rape, they will not believe it ever happened. Same with bullying.

The Maldives has a very long history of high divorce rate. The current grandparents' era was not so rosy either. In the 70s & 80s, there were people on marriage sprees. Some had 4-5 marriages in one neighborhood. Hatharu avashun 4 bandah dharin hoadhun were a thing then.
