The second day of consultations with partners in Paris.

We held constructive discussions with national security advisors and met with the U.S. delegation. Key attention was devoted to security guarantees and to coordinating further steps to bring a just peace closer.

I also held a professional conversation with colleagues from French military intelligence, including a meeting with its Director, General Jacques Langlade de Montgros.

I am grateful to our partners for their continued support for Ukraine.

At the President of Ukraine's instruction, an important meeting was held with national security advisers from Ukraine's partner states — members of the Coalition of the Willing who had arrived in Kyiv.

The consultations were productive and demonstrated a high level of awareness of the challenges and threats to our shared security, yielding tangible results. We provided our partners with a detailed briefing on the documents developed within the peace process and on the outcomes of the intensive diplomatic efforts of recent weeks.

We discussed and coordinated our positions across various areas of military and political cooperation to bring closer the result that is essential for all of us — reliable security guarantees. Ukraine requires genuine, strong, and legally binding security guarantees from its partners that will prevent future aggression.

We agreed that on this challenging path, it is crucial to preserve our unity and maintain the high pace we have achieved. Next week, the work will continue at the state leaders' level, as well as among the militaries of partner states.

I thank our partners for their support and assistance, which directly strengthens Ukraine's position in the largest conflict in Europe since World War II. Ukraine, the United States, and Europe are committed to a reliable and just peace that will serve as the foundation for our shared prosperous future.

I have accepted the proposal of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to head the Office of the President. I will continue to serve Ukraine.

The position of Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine is another line of responsibility before the state. It is both an honor and a profound commitment, especially at this decisive moment in our country’s history, to focus on issues critical to Ukraine’s strategic security.

I am grateful for the trust. I extend my sincere gratitude to my fellow service members and to the entire DIU team for our work.

We will continue to do what must be done — to strike the enemy, defend Ukraine, and work tirelessly toward a just peace.

Together, we will continue to fight for a free and secure future for Ukraine.

Another year is passing, hard-won through dedication and tenacity, through principles and the daily effort of Ukrainians.

This year was made possible thanks to our defenders – those who stood their ground not only for Ukraine, but also for all who value freedom and dignity.

WORLD KING OF CHEF SUMMIT AWAJI JAPAN 2025

今年、淡路島にて World King of Chef Summit が開催されました。
テーマは「食」「健康」「地方創生」。持続可能で豊かな社会の実現を目指し、世界各国からシェフや専門家が集結しました。プログラムには食育フォーラムや国際料理コンテストが含まれ、多様な食文化が紹介されました。
ウクライナからは、2年連続でシェフの カテリーナ・アンドレンコ さんが参加しました。
今年、カテリーナさんは卓越した料理技術と、ウクライナを優雅で創造的、かつ専門性の高い形で表現したコンテスト料理により、特別賞を受賞しました。
私たちはカテリーナさんを心から誇りに思います。
ウクライナのシェフとして、
才能と情熱を持つプロフェッショナルとして、
そして Ukraine House Japan の大切なチームメンバーとして。
今回の受賞は、カテリーナさんがその専門的な評価に十分ふさわしいことを示すものです。

This night was difficult.

On the map, you can see what the Russian attack on Ukraine looked like on the night of November 7 to 8. The Russians launched 458 drones (of which more than 300 were Shahids) and 45 missiles (of which 32 were ballistic).

Russia is methodically destroying the country's energy system. The International Criminal Court has opened proceedings on these actions, qualifying them as crimes against humanity. Millions of people in Ukraine may face this winter without heating, light, water, and basic survival items.

We need air defense systems and tomahawks to stop these missiles and drones at Russian military airfields.

Ukrainian couple wins world dance competition in France

Over the course of the night, Ukraine’s Defense Forces neutralized more than 400 drones, which is a significant result – achieved by our unmanned systems units, army aviation, and mobile fire groups. Electronic warfare did its job.

Some of the missiles were also shot down – although, of course, it is extremely difficult to counter ballistic and aeroballistic missiles. Only a few systems in the world are capable of intercepting such missiles effectively – and to protect our entire territory, we need far more of these systems and the missiles for them.

We are working with the United States to purchase additional Patriots, and we are very much counting on the support. I am grateful to every leader, to every one of our friends in Europe, in America, in Asia, who is trying to help.

🇺🇦 Zelensky: The most difficult situation is now in the Pokrovsk direction. The occupiers are trying to gain a foothold by all methods, every destroyed occupier there is a result for our entire state.

The situation in Kupyansk remains difficult, but these days our forces have more control.

We also worked out in detail the planning of our long-range operations. The only scenario is to force Russia to end the war in the way that is possible, in the way that will actually work.
