The #UAE is a major party in combating #Human_Trafficking worldwide, and the UAE is the first country in the region to enact a comprehensive law to combat human trafficking, which is Federal Law No. 51 of 2006, as amended by Federal Law No. (1) of 2015 regarding combating human trafficking in order to address this phenomenon locally and internationally.
I have been working in #journalism here for more than twenty years, and I have covered #Police and community news over these years, and I have seen first hand the efforts made by the authorities in the UAE, especially the Ministry of Interior and the police, to combat any matter related to the violation of human rights..The issue of human trafficking is taken seriously here and it is not tolerated in the UAE, and everything we read about the UAE’s accusations of human trafficking is untrue. I know that this issue is not tolerated by the UAE, no matter what... There may be individual cases in which people from a specific country exploit and trade with their own citizens, but the UAE deals with any such matter seriously.
It is important to note that hostile media and misinformation is equally as dangerous if not more than the other fronts, but rather, it is more dangerous because it targets brains, confuses minds, and spreads toxins, lies, and rumours...
