After seven long months in hospital, Colin was ready to make a break for it! He’s absolutely smashed his rehabilitation with us, and we couldn’t have been prouder to give him our best #TeamNRU send off!
What a day! 🙌🏽 Just got home & my heart is full. Our pilot community vaccine clinic was a phenomenal success beyond our expectations!
Vaccinated > 500 pple‼️
Truly was a monumental team effort. Special thanks to @women4changeLei @NHSLeicester, central Leic PCN & our ace team
⭐100 Wizzybugs in six months!⭐
We've helped 100 children with a free Wizzybug, powered wheelchair since restarting handovers in August. The last year hasn’t been easy, but the fact that we've been achieved this through the challenge is humbling:

Great to see my local park has finally installed wheelchair accessible benches. I have had many frustrating picnic trips with young service users due to the lack of these at parks! 😔
@Ciaran_OT I am really enjoying my time here and it’s been an interesting experience. I agree with you completely, I feel as though I’m doing a lot of OT which I haven’t really had the chance to do in other areas
If you’re band 5 occupational therapist and ever get an opportunity to do a rotation in neuro rehabilitation, I’d say grab that with both hands 🤯 I’m currently learning so much and I know there’s still so much more waiting for me.
I took a lovely elderly patient to the dayroom today, made her a cup of tea &she told me all about herself. She spoke about her husband who she’s been married to for 61yrs, her kids &about her extremely interesting life adventures.
Small moments like this is why I love my job😆
