The userspace API ("uapi") group is a community for people with an interest in innovating how we build, deploy, and run modern Linux operating systems.
🐧 We'll have a (half-day) co-located room for talks ("devroom") at @fosdem '23!
Drop by for a chat on modern, secure, image-based Linux.

This the first in a series of technical deep dives. The first installment is around Unified Kernel Images (UKI)! UKIs were discussed in detail during the First Image-Summit in Berlin.
From the image-based Linux summit a few weeks ago emerged a cross-distro group united by their interest in easing build, deployment, operation, and update of modern Linux systems.
The group is in its infancy and just getting started - check it out if you share the same interests.
Finally this is out. Pretty exciting and all of this came out of the Image-Based Linux Summit we held 5 and 6 October in Berlin. From Berlin with <3
