i have a theory about the cake part because i’m pretty sure the women on the cake in the normal MV is supposed to be marie antoinette, and we’ve all heard the phrase “let them eat cake” and i think it goes way deeper than what the surface level meaning of “let them eat cake” is but ive never been good at organizing my thoughts but i believe it has some relation to their fame and how people say “they’re famous what did they expect” or something along those lines idk but i found this really interesting and i would LOVE if a theory army looked into this
