On Youth Day, I spoke with Ukrainian youth living and studying in different parts of the world 🌍

They preserve our language and culture, counter disinformation, and build a positive image of #Ukraine in their communities.

We discussed how their experience, contacts, and active civic stance help strengthen 🇺🇦’s positions globally — and how they can contribute to our country’s post-war recovery through cultural, educational, scientific, and economic initiatives

It is equally important to hear not only their ideas but also the challenges they face. Such conversations help make cooperation between the state and Ukrainian youth abroad even more effective 🤝

On Oct 18, we screened “The Guide” (“Povodyr”) movie.
It tells the story of a 10yo American boy named Peter, who ended up in 1930s Soviet Ukraine. Peter was saved by a blind bard (kobzar). With no other chance to survive in the foreign country, Peter became the Kobzar's guide.

On Oct 5, with "Lotus fund", we organized the charity event "Run for Light". We raised ~2,150 CHF to support 🇺🇦 medical workers buying med equipment for blood analysis. This event was part of an international campaign, where we run the letter "F" from the "Run For Light" phrase.

In the first week of the new semester, we remembered those who would never get their diplomas. The Unissued Diplomas exhibition at @UZH_en reminded us of the high price Ukrainian youth pays for its future.

During three days, July 3-5, 2024, the singing workshop was held at ETH Zurich, organized by Yevheniia Zelenska and UASAZ.
This event celebrated traditional Ukrainian culture, focusing on the magical transition period from spring to summer.

On Saturday, June 29, we embarked on a half-day hike to Seealpsee, despite the unexpected change in our plans. The hike provided us with delightful views of the Alpine Lake and Appenzell Alps.

We recently took an exclusive tour that reveals the magic behind the scenes at @operzuerich! We explored the stage, makeup, and costume departments, as well as the furniture and set warehouses.

On May 29th, a Summit called Diia in Zurich took place. The members of our association joined as volunteers for the organizing team and as guests at the lectures and discussions. The projects aimed at the digital transformation of Ukraine left everyone astonished.

On May 28th, we were honored to organize a meeting with the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine @FedorovMykhailo with Ukrainian students and staff at @ETH_en. This meeting undoubtedly inspired and motivated the whole community.
