TIME FOR THIS TO GO?
This has been page 1 of the script for years. I originally included it because simply *being a parody* spooks people, especially if it’s an unestablished show.

But now, as the preamble to a perusal copy, it feels kind of breathless and defensive. Thoughts?

I’m strongly considering cutting “Welcome to Starfleet” from the album. It might sound crazy, but it’s kind of a fakeout song, it makes audiences think “uh oh, is the whole show gonna be like this?” If someone tries to listen to the album in order it could turn them off quickly.
