In a meeting with Facilities and Operations. Cost to retrofit HUB Mall not listed in the Security Issue document. Answer expected by Friday, November 9th. Estimated cost at least 6, potentially 7 digits.

Security issues in Newton Place identified as Priority #2 (residents leaving a locked door propped open).

Unlike HUB, Newton Place actually has locked doors.

I am fully in support of establishing The Landing as an SU Service. The UASU has room to grow in the field of equity, diversity, and inclusion. Bringing The Landing to the table will secure additional opportunities for queer and non-binary individuals to have their voices heard.

At the Students’ Council meeting on November 13th, councillors will vote again on the proposal to integrate The Landing into the SU. #uasu

Today, at the Annual General Meeting of The Landing, students voted 28-1-1 in favour of integrating The Landing into the Student Services Unit at the UASU.
