Husband cr!es out after he was allegedly ass@ulted by a priest in Ekiti State following a dispute involving his wife, who allegedly became the priest's cook without his knowledge.

According to him, the man wearing the white shorts in the video is the priest, who was thre@tening him after he came to the parish house to inquire about his wife's whereabouts. The video was recorded by his first son, who has lived with him for years.

The man claimed the issue began after he brought his wife from their village to Ondo State so they could work together to train their five children. At the time, he was living with his first son. He alleged that a few days later, his wife packed her belongings along with those of the children and left the family home without informing him.

According to him, after several unsuccessful attempts to reach her, she eventually contacted him about two weeks later and explained that a priest had employed her as a cook and cleaner for a salary of ₦15,000. He said he continued visiting her and the children for their sake.

He further alleged that in December 2024, his wife and the children spent the Christmas holiday with him before returning to the priest's residence in January 2025. However, in March, he received a letter from a customary court concerning the dissolution of their marriage and a request for custody of all the children.

The husband claimed that after the court proceedings began, his wife allegedly encouraged the children to ins√lt him over the phone, adding that some of the voice recordings can be heard in the video.

He said he later travelled with his first son to resolve the situation and understand what had led to the children's behaviour. Upon arrival, he alleged that his wife refused to allow him see the children, claiming that the priest had instructed her not to meet with him.

According to his account, the woman later took the children to the church and locked them inside. He then went to meet the priest to discuss the matter, but alleged that the priest ass@ulted him he claims. He stated that his son recorded the incident on his phone.

The man further alleged that days later, the priest reported him to the police, leading to his detention for four days before he was charged with attempted m√rder and accused of trying to k|ll the priest with a g√n.

He claimed that when the matter got to court, the judge questioned the allegations and ordered the priest to appear before the court. According to him, the priest subsequently withdrew the case.

We are yet to hear the wife side of the story and the priest's side of the story is yet to be heard.
