🚨🗣️ ryan Giggs on why Sir Alex was wrong about Zinedine Zidane and how it changed his career:
I remember the first time I got one of Sir Alex's famous hairdryer treatments. I was substituted at half-time.
Before the game, Sir Alex's team talk was all about Zidane. He told us, 'He's finished. I think he was about 26! He's slow. If you're aggressive with him, you can rattle him.'
But when I lined up next to Zidane in the tunnel, I remember looking at him and thinking, 'I think Sir Alex is wrong here.' He didn't look weak at all.
Then the game started, and I honestly don't think Zidane gave the ball away once. He was unbelievable. The way he controlled the game, his touch, his composure it was on another level.
I'd only been in the first team for two or three seasons at that point, and I walked away from that match saying to myself, 'I need to get to this level.' That game had a massive impact on me."
🚨 Lionel Messi's agent has offered Lionel Messi to Manchester City with a USB of his World Cup goals stating that he still performs at the highest level
Manchester City have rejected the proposal.
🇵🇹🎙️ During his time at Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo spoke brilliantly about how teammates don't need to be friends off the pitch:
🗣️ Ronaldo: "When I was at Manchester United, we won the Champions League and there were some players I would only say 'hi' or 'good morning' to, like Giggs, Scholes or Ferdinand.
But the harmony on the pitch was great.
I don't have to go to dinner with Benzema or invited Bale around to my house, what matters is when you are on the field. We know what we want and we know how to play.
The most important thing is what happens on the pitch and that the team win."

Her grandma took her to a village (Umuahia) family meeting, where every first-time visitor was asked to stand up and greet everyone. Without a second thought, she got up and confidently greeted the entire gathering. 😂👏

🚨 Toni Kroos on Rodri's potential move to Real Madrid:
🗣️ "If Rodri joins Real Madrid, I might have to come out of retirement just to play alongside him. Maybe he'll teach me a few things about becoming a complete midfielder." (Laughs.)
"I remember after one of our Champions League games against Manchester City, I joked with him that he'd copied my style - even down to tucking his shirt into his shorts. We both laughed about it, but the truth is he's a player every midfielder can learn from.
Out of all the names linked with José Mourinho's project, Rodri is the one I'd love to see most. Just imagine Rodri and Bernardo Silva controlling Madrid's midfield. At that point, you're bringing a little bit of Pep Guardiola's Manchester City into the Bernabéu.
People will talk about the transfer fee, but some players are simply priceless. A Ballon d'Or winner, a World Cup winner and one of the best midfielders of this generation - you don't negotiate too much over that quality.
Honestly, if helping the deal means convincing Manchester City with another player like Ayyoub Bouaddi... maybe I should join the board for a few days!" (Laughs.)
