@Bladeerrader The genuine critiques for the game get buried because there's a group of marathon fans that don't play the game and are just constantly hunting down anything bad about the game to shut it down despite it being completely valid.
The only posts that can survive this are charts.
@Bladeerrader When I mentioned the awful balance back in season 1, the incredibly unfun grenade spam, bubble, self res spam, or anything that was in desperate need of fixing I got called a hater for no reason.
Even one guy refused to acknowledge what I said because the game has NO issues.
Arc Raiders going with a major update every 6 months needs to add tons of content to chew through or else it will definitely be the biggest fumble of a success story in gaming history.
@Matty_OW I don't think it's a thing about hours tho, but it definitely has a lot to do when they start having more fun believing they're good because of a trainer than actually trying to get good at any game beyond aiming.
@Matty_OW Aim training is this thing that's fun at the beginning, but then some people get so into it that they believe they're the best player in any match because their "mechanical skill" is based on "objective" points in a trainer they become miserable to be around when playing a game.
@EclipseNine@Gigabear_X Why does every valorant player assumes anyone that dislikes this behavior is automatically a cheater in the game?
Wasn't valorant already very cheater free? But now everyone online is a cheater?
@ButterSquanch@OrdinaryGamers@octoexp490 Also I am asking genuinely. This isn't a gotcha, I genuinely want to know if you consider user intent to be a crucial part of what malware is.
@ButterSquanch@OrdinaryGamers@octoexp490 The question is the exact same.
If you install ransomware, is the fact you wanted it installed changing it so now it's not actually ransomware?
@packy34@ChogoSprow@Todredmi The very simple act of you clicking on an RTX 4060 on a webpage is valuable enough to ramp production on a competitor for lower cost and boost economy.
But sure let's talk like this totally means a random chinese citizen is the one that will get the data and not an algorithm.
@ButterSquanch@OrdinaryGamers@octoexp490 Nobody, and I mean NOBODY willingly installs software that will break OS behavior. That is EXACTLY why I ask if then intent changes the definition.
So does it?
@ButterSquanch@OrdinaryGamers@octoexp490 Also "the first issue is that you installed ransomware" is simply not a valid argument, as we can also dance around the "YOU did it" by saying anyone who got ransomware really really wanted that GTA 6 leaked copy or whatever, so explicitly allowing it.
