Maybe the biggest SaaS moat in 2026 isn't technology.
It's having 10,000 people who already trust you.
Because when the next product takes 48 hours to build, the hard part won't be building it.
It'll be getting anyone to notice.
A technical founder can spend six months building a product.
A good salesperson can understand in 30 minutes whether anyone wants it.
That's an uncomfortable asymmetry.
@jonathan_wilke The funniest part of Outbid is that the product is simple enough to clone in a weekend, but apparently the idea was good enough to spawn an entire economy.
Someone made a leaderboard for Outbid clones.
Someone else made a leaderboard for those leaderboards.
I am now waiting for someone to make a leaderboard of the leaderboard of leaderboards.
