@SydneyLWatson This guy is so bizarre. I’m genuinely concerned for that baby. There’s 100% chance a really bad story about this guy is coming out in the near future.
@SebMadeInChina@WellDonegio@capybaroness …the great Russian novels or Mozart’s Masses. TS Eliot’s the Four Quartets is an excellent example. Shoe gazing is low culture. Which is what Atlanta and fleabag are.

Something like Twin Peaks or True Detective (if we’re talking about shows) would be culturally significant. Something of high culture would be..
The NYT had “BoJack Horseman” as the only animated show in its top 100. At the end of the episode called “Brrap Brrap Pew Pew,” a character is asked how she’s feeling after an abortion. “I feel shitty. I mean physically. I’m glad I did it. Mostly I just felt old.”
@kmstx78 Agree on #5. Miniseries shouldn’t count and I don’t get the logic of cherry picking seasons for anthology shows (true detective and beef) but including all seasons of Black Mirror.
@Carol_Sturka_ He was her boss and it was his firm. She did leave HHM for S&C firm and was not happy there. She did the pro bono work but even then was only happy when she was scamming.
@Yung_Spengler@FistedFoucault Yeah. I sort of forgot about the journalist subplot. I did like the missing woman woman subplot. I thought the actor was great.
The Lord of the Skies subplot spent too much time pining over the Cuban lounge singer though.
