Why Cardano?
Over the last few months, I have been building and compiling a thread covering some of the things I value most about Cardano.
A lot of work has gone into researching each topic, understanding the underlying design choices, and explaining why they matter in practice.
From consensus and eUTXO, to native assets, formal methods, smart contract execution, decentralisation and scaling, there is a lot beneath the surface that deserves proper explanation.
This thread brings that work together in one place.
And there is still plenty more to come. ๐

@hirschnase@svpino I wouldn't fly his plane, live near his nuclear power plant, use his accounting or trading software, his spreadsheet, etc..
Maybe one day.
@policytensor@KingKong9888 It's because you're using 'crypto' too loosely to include centralised tokens and crypto held in centralised exchanges. That is the 'crypto' they can raid.
@sean_a_mcclure Would you fly a plane that had its software written like this? Or file your taxes on the output of this code? Sure there's lots of discretionary, low accuracy software but that was always low hanging fruit...
