Had an awesome time on zoom today with Mrs. Bishop's Class - they showed us their super cool arrowheads and we showed off the 3D modeling projects that we've done this year. After- some aspiring young 3D modelers sent us pics of their WIP boats! Keep up the good work guys!
Here's sophomore Zach's castle video - the effects and plants and animals are from an asset pack, but he established the whole scene and all the underwater castle ruins are his models!
Hello folks - sorry it's been quiet for a bit as we've been back from spring break, ECGC and are rapidly approaching finals - here's some fantastic student work! Previously posted as a WIP, here is Junior Liv's Disney-inspired castle made with 3dsmax and Unreal 5
It's really important for students to know that very few 3d artists are complete rockstars and knows everything. People who work at top studios still have basic questions and need to Google simple things all the time.
3D is legit hard so never feel bad about having a hard time.
I've been assigning a modular castle project in #3dsMax to my Modeling I students for close to a decade but #datasmith and #UE5 have revolutionized how we do that project. Lighting, terrain, and videos with sequencer render easier and faster. Here's some WIP from junior Liv N:
Finally, junior Leo P went well above the required 10-20 seconds (with permission) :) - here's his rendition of a famous music video with actual zombies. With assist from #mixamo and music by yugobossmk358 on youtube. #UE5@mr_isaacs
