The Defense Department today announced it will be providing close to $2.5 billion in additional new security assistance support to Ukraine intended to reaffirm the department's commitment to supporting Ukraine's defense against Russian aggression.

🇺🇦🕯️ On this day, December 30, 2022, in captivity of the Russian occupiers, after the words "Glory to Ukraine!", Oleksandr Matsievsky, Hero of Ukraine, , was killed.
🙏 Eternal memory and Glory to the Hero!
Do you plan to share your reflections on Orbital, for example? Do you still believe in peaceful Russians, and you can give them another country's land and believe that your generous decision will pacify them?
Can I, your voter, expect any honest reflection on your decisions and all Ukrainians killed, tortured, and kidnapped?
BREAKING: Secretary of State Antony Blinken announces "every dollar we have at our disposal will be pushed [to Ukraine] between now and January 20th" when Trump takes office.
I talked to President Biden.
In the last 90 days of his term, he needs to exercise his responsibilities as commander-in-chief and give Ukraine the weapons it needs to make a “substantial difference” on the battlefield.
I shared my recommendations:
So, apparently 45% of Germans approve Ukraine getting to “peace” by conceding some of its lands away. The “land for peace” concept is questionable in principle. Important question is what do you mean by peace. Can it be fair or lasting, durable? Clearly, there is no way to answer this question positively. Munich 1938 or Minsk 2014, 2015 can serve as cautionary tales.
The only proper steps towards peace remains continuing aid to Ukraine. Including propping up Ukraine’s vision of peace. The statements by Chancellor Scholz today as he has hosted president Zelensky leave no room for doubt that such support will go on. Entertaining idea of a phone call with Pu, or considering reducing support to Ukraine, or contemplating any sort of the “peace” at the expense of Ukraine, it’s interests, sovereignty or territorial integrity would be wrong.
Viktoria Roshchyna, an incredibly brave Ukrainian journalist, was just 27. Russia captured her when she tried to report from occupied territories. She was almost certainly tortured.
She died (was killed) when she was already up for a prisoner exchange. https://t.co/i9ms03vXQy
According to @MoH_Ukraine, in the first seven months of 2024, 42,458 children under age 17 sought psychological help. 80%
of Ukrainian children suffer from PTSD due to russian invasion.

"Ukrainians have capacity in their drone factories, and could produce more themselves if they just had the money. Meanwhile, $300 billion worth of frozen Russian reserves are untouched, waiting for a political decision to use that money to win the war" https://t.co/vj5uMpKwYt
The transshipment racket to Russia starts and ends with Germany. For over two years now, Berlin has turned a blind eye to this stuff because it wants to keep German exports going. Putin - and Xi - watch this and laugh. They could not have wished for a better opponent...
One year ago today, russia launched a missile strike on Hroza village in the Kharkiv region, targeting a café where people had gathered for a funeral. The attack killed 59 people, which was one-seventh of the village’s population. Men, women, children, entire families. Never forget!
This Ukrainian prisoner of war was not executed by Putin.
He was executed by an ordinary Russian with the ordinary inhumanity inherent in most Russians.
Meanwhile, the Red Cross will be concerned about the lack of red caviar in the diet of Russian POWs in Ukraine.
In one year, russia took 0.1% of Ukrainian territory. At this phase, it would take russia roughly 800 years and 2.4 billion more soldiers to take the rest of Ukraine.
But even these small advancement could have been stopped, had the West sent more aid.
