It's a California buckeye. Only found in CA, they can live to 250-300 years. This one looks about as old as the campus itself. If you look up "buckeye tree old trunk," this exact tree is the 1st result, via a stock photo site. For $19.99-199.99, depending on use, it can be yours?
Interested in learning more about the Folklore program? We will be presenting (via Zoom) at the Graduate Diversity Admissions Fair on Thursday, October 21, from 11am-12pm. Register here!
