This narrative is incorrect and needs clarification.

• The NSC is NOT responsible for funding Super Eagles supporters. That role has always belonged to the NFF.
• No Ministry or Commission has ever funded supporters to previous AFCONs.

Since the NSC came on board, however, it has consistently supported recognised supporters:
– World Cup qualifier trips (incl. Rwanda)
– Visa & logistics support for SA games
– Playoff logistics in Morocco

As we speak, 20+ supporters are fully sponsored by the NSC and currently in Morocco for AFCON.

What’s being framed as a funding issue is actually an internal crisis between supporters’ factions, not a withdrawal of NSC support.
