“While they were there the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and laid him in a manger because there was no guest room available for them.” Part 1.
Today at 1 p.m. our church hosts a Farewell Celebration for Pastor Steve. It will be in person and on Zoom. (See the newsletter for the link.) We’ll gather in the sanctuary and, after the service, in the basement fellowship hall for refreshments. Please come join us!

As we prepare for the departure of our dear Pastor Steve for his new adventures in New England, there will be several special events to celebrate him and his ministry here in Vermillion. Stay tuned here and in your weekly newsletter for more details.
Kick off the Christmas season at 5 p.m. Sunday (11/28) with a soup supper followed by the lighting of our Moravian Christmas Star at 6 p.m.
We’ll also observe the dedication of Luke and Leah (Miller) Summit’s son, Ember (Pastor Steve’s grandson). It’s in person and on Facebook.
