I'm still a PC student so I know doctors won't take me seriously.
But for residency I advice you to pick a specialty, with plenty portable yet marketable surgical procedures.
When I say portable I mean procedures that don't require a patient to be bedridden.
The procedures in your speciality should also be very advertisable
Imagine doing vasectomies as a urologist, at 150k per procedure.
It's portable and you don't need a clinic to get patients if you're good at marketing your skills online.
All you need is your office and perhaps one employee.
This surgery can be done in 30 minutes and 10 patients a month is an easy 1.5 million naira.
Avoid clinic-dependent specialties with no procedures that you can market with your own agency e.g anaesthesiology
