@Rufyb In No sane country do you use monthly min wage to fill your car tank. Anyway but it’s reform and we must cheer them for it. No austerity on the part of politicians, no consequences for those that looted the treasury dry just politics and selective prosecution by EFCC. Tufiakwa!
@Chude_ND1 They’ve rendered everyone poorer. working and the govt is looting, printing and causing inflation for everyone.
Filling small Camry costs roughly 80k, that’s about 240k a month on fuel.
Reform, you punish commoners and leave those that stole the treasury.
@chiziaruhoma We have data centers here already oh. This is an incentive for them to raise and scale massively.
MainOne, Rack Centre, MTN, Airtel over to you.
Even more money would go to the telcos. Loads of upside to MTNN.
No need to de check NGX portfolio now everyday summary na minus 100k 😂🤣
And the coys I’m even targeting aren’t crashing like that. Ike gwuru
This IPO should come and go biko.
@segun_os_ He has fundamental gaps in his CS knowledge. Never seen anyone bothering about storing 100 trillion Naira in my life. It’s fits perfectly into 6bytes or 47bits.
Nonetheless, I fear Twitter is being too harsh on him like the Stackoverflow of old.
@lanreadelowo@thawhyte Even in Java I’ve been in a company using decimal4j lib for arbitrary precision math. I currently write Python and there’s Decimal.
The important thing is the IEEE standard and paper they all implement. Java bundling it is a matter of convenience just Go bundles net/http
@lanreadelowo This is arbitrary precision math convo not about lang
It’s like saying cos Go bundles json serializer and web server that Go programmers can’t understand those concepts divorced from the language.
Python/C# - decimal inbuilt
PHP - BCMath inbuilt
@abahnj@OfficialSamkayz I think he’s still learning be gentle nwanne so he won’t give up. Remember how bad Stackoverflow was to newcomers asking dumb questions.
100 trillion he’s talking about taking space is barely 6bytes 😂
@OfficialSamkayz it’s quite common to store minor in the industry.
@OfficialSamkayz@wahabind Naira to kobo is just 2 zeros. if you’d have issues with 100 trillion kobos so would you with 1 trillion Naira.
To be honest 100 trillion is not a problem at all. It’s barely 6bytes.
Concern is the scale and precision supported by the underlying data type. Even quadrillion :)
@OfficialSamkayz Huh worked on Cards bro, Visa sends us money in minor. It is pretty normal in finance. You just have a utility lib to go from major to minor and vice versa.
Even 100 trillion fits perfectly into 47 bits which is quite trivial to store
