𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞?

Is there a real 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 somewhere making sure every child has a fair chance in the digital age?

When decision-makers sit around tables discussing the future, are they talking about practical digital equity, or are they simply talking about innovation for those who already have access?

𝐈 𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐧.

What comes to your mind when you hear words like digital equity or digital justice?

For some people, it sounds like a trend.
For others, it sounds like a conference topic.
For me, it is deeply personal. It is the daily reality of millions of children and families.

My work lives in the space of digital inequality.

And trust me, it can feel isolating.

📍You speak.
📍You advocate.
📍You write proposal after proposal.
📍You explain why access matters.
📍You show evidence.
📍You tell stories from real communities.

Yet many still do not fully see it.

Because if they did, we would move faster.

They would understand that talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not.

They would understand that some children are learning coding with mentors, devices, and stable internet, while others are trying to dream big through broken systems, weak connectivity, outdated tools, or no tools at all.

𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐚𝐩 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲.

It is about dignity.
It is about who gets prepared for the future.
It is about whose ideas get to exist.
It is about who is seen early enough to thrive.

Digital justice means a child’s future should not be limited by their postcode, income, gender, or geography.

It means a girl in a rural town deserves the same chance to explore AI as a child in a wealthy city.

It means teachers should not be left behind while the world moves forward.

It means communities should be builders of the future, not spectators of it.

𝐈 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞.

I have seen what happens when one laptop enters a classroom.
When one mentor says, “You belong here.”
When one opportunity reaches the right child.

Sometimes transformation begins with something small.

So I will keep speaking, even when it feels lonely.

Because silence also becomes policy.

At the second edition of our YALI Skills Lab, @YALINetwork members learned how Artificial Intelligence, especially American platforms/tools, is instrumental for professional growth and impact.

Through practical, in-depth sessions, speakers @Fosudo, @o_adeeko, and Samuel Eyitayo guided participants through the fundamentals of AI and showed them ways of using it to build strong personal brands, create compelling content, and tackle real-life challenges in their communities.

Because my work lives at the intersection of education, technology, equity, policy, and access,
Valentine’s Day makes me pause and ask a different question!

If you were to give me a gift… what would I truly need?

From policymakers,
I do not need flowers!
I need a seat at the roundtable! A real conversation about the future we are designing for our children!

From organizations,
I do not need cards!
I need partnerships! Hands joined together to move ideas into action!

From private and government decision-makers,
I do not need decorations!
I need a redesign of frameworks! Fair distribution! Real access! Resources that reach the communities that have waited the longest!

So this Valentine’s Day, my heart is not resting!
My heart is working!
It is thinking about solutions, systems, and possibilities!

I look at every laptop, every internet connection, every child’s smile,
and I see more than devices!
I see hope in motion! Hope for today! Hope for a future that is kinder, smarter, and more inclusive!

Walking into the future — but who is walking with us?

AI is advancing.
Automation is expanding.
Digital systems are getting smarter every week.

But millions have never touched a computer.

Some classrooms still have no internet.
Some teachers are preparing students for a digital economy without digital tools.

The future is accelerating.
Access is not.

Progress that excludes is not progress.
Innovation that widens the gap is not innovation.

The real question is simple:

Are we building a future everyone can step into?

Or one only a few can afford?

I arrived in the United States safely after a fruitful stay in Nigeria.

I did my project and I spent quality time with family, friends, and loved ones.

Now, it is time to return to finish what we all started together. This journey has been filled with memories, and with dreams we dreamed and brought to life together.

It has truly been a blessing, and that’s because so many of you stood by me.

You supported me, you believed in me, and I hope I did not disappoint.

Thank you for your love, your kindness, and your prayers. I may not be able to mention all your names here, but you know yourselves.

Graduation is coming in less than 60 days!

A few days ago, I was featured on 𝐓𝐕𝐂 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐬, Nigeria, as part of the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭.

It was another opportunity to share my journey a journey that started small.

In local and community schools around Onitsha, I began working with young girls both in-school and out-of-school teaching them how to build with tech. We used what we had. We dreamed of what we didn’t.

Today, through the 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, we have grown that dream. Support from the Harvard Innovation Labs has helped us reach more girls, more communities, and more hearts.

That kind of support reminds us of something important:

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬.

Change can start right where we are.

I remembered 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟖, when a group of five girls I mentored won the global gold award at the Technovation Challenge in 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐧 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐲, 𝐔𝐒𝐀. That moment shifted everything.

Suddenly, STEM for girls wasn’t a side story.

𝐈𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐚 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞.

𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐩����𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧. ��𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞.

We started seeing signs of progress.
Governments at different levels began to take steps.

Digital tools entered classrooms.
#STEM became a buzzword.
Girls in tech were no longer invisible.

𝐈𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭.

𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡.

Real progress will come when governments partner with people like us people who live in these communities and understand the real challenges.

𝐖𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐩𝐬.
𝐖𝐞 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐬.
𝐖𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐥𝐲, 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲.

My Masters education journey at Harvard Graduate School of Education came with a lot of doubt, yes, even self-doubt, challenges, and moments when resources were scarce.

But through it all, one thought never left my mind: I had to take a piece of @Harvard University home.

𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥.

I am deeply grateful to the #HarvardInnovationLabs for awarding me the 𝑺𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑰𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒕 𝑭𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝑭𝒖𝒏𝒅, special thanks to Rebekah Emanuel, Julia Berman and Phillip Green for your endless mentorship.

To me it is a 𝑷𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 Hub. It is:

🌸 A chance for young girls to see a future beyond 𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒚 𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒈𝒆.
🌸 A space for youth to build businesses and gain skills.
🌸 A resource for families to be empowered through entrepreneurship education.
🌸 A gateway to the broader world.

It came before graduation, I brought something home🥳

This is not small, it feels like buying a house in Silicon Valley💃🏾.

✨ Functionally equipped solar-powered #𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉𝑬𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒕𝒚 Hub, a space designed to respond to the need for green energy solutions while bridging the gap between urban and hard-to-reach communities.

To me it is a 𝑷𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 Hub. It is:

🌸 A chance for young girls to see a future beyond 𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒚 𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒈𝒆.
🌸 A space for youth to build businesses and gain skills.
🌸 A resource for families to be empowered through entrepreneurship education.
🌸 A gateway to the broader world.

It came before graduation, I brought something home🥳

This is not small, it feels like buying a house in Silicon Valley💃🏾.
