Be the ONE for your Team!
Attn Coaches: if you still have camps & have not ordered t-shirts, save yourself some trouble & order all mediums. You can ask a kid that is 6-8 & 240 lbs what size t-shirt he wants, & he will say, “Let me have that medium.”
Anyone who plays at a high level of their sport knows how physical the game is. The best players are the ones in the best shape. Everyone at the top is skilled/strong. Give yourself that advantage. Work on your body as well as your skills. Strength & conditioning helps separate!
Coaches aren’t in the business of begging players to get in the gym or come to camps, but if you don’t, don’t come later begging for playing time. It doesn’t work that way. Players get playing time by earning it. If you don’t earn it, save yourself the trouble of asking for it!
One of the ones that won’t get talked about enough until they get tired of listening to me… has to be one of the top 2026s in KY. D is playing on a different level and definitely can play with the best of them! He will wake plenty up this winter with Union County!
TOP PERFORMER: Daishawn Curry of the New Outlawz is an elite scorer who beat defenders off the bounce, got out in transition, and hit perimeter shots in a Sweet 16 win. #BeElite
Bottom line for the summer: No more excuses about working out. Ultimately, it’s your team. Take ownership of it!
Great Team= Summer workouts are player led/productive
Good team= Only coaches get players excited about summer workouts
Bad team= Players hate/avoid summer workouts

Cam is another one of those great teammates. He’s averaging 5 pts and 7 rebounds for UC this season. He is one of those guys with all the IQ and makes the right plays at the right time and has unlimited potential!
