1year ago...I will NEVER regret standing with my countrymen. Yes little has changed outside us, however much has changed inside us. Today we stand up more & speak up more. We reignited in each other a hope that cannot be extinguished, the march will never end #WeAreOne#Believe
A reminder of why putting a free & fair election front and centre of international engagement is so crucial. Vital that all parties confirm they will accept the results of a credible election. Getting the military to confirm they’d accept this too would be a hugely positive move.
Remember the activists who’s #BananaProtest led to Kadoma City Council fixing roads?? Well now they’re getting threatening phone calls from the CIO demanding a report on all their activities! New dispensation? Citizens should be free to exercise their rights without intimidation.
It’s a dark day. Morgan Tsvangirai lost his brave battle with cancer this evening.
The heart breaks with pain.
It was a rare privilege and an honour to have the confidence of this icon of the democratic struggle. My thoughts are with his family #RIPMorganTsvangirai
Rest in Power, Morgan Tsvangirai. Courageous and bold, you have inspired our nation’s long struggle for a just, peaceful, equitable and democratic society. We salute you, comrade, thank you for all you have done for Zimbabwe. #RIPMorganTsvangirai
“I’m not honourable!” says Wicknell Chivhayo after Chairman of the energy portfolio committee called inadvertently addressed him as “Honourable”. Probably the most correct and truthful answer he has given so far!
I have to say, I have observed a lot of bullying on these streets, directed at this young man, @DougColtart I respect him for his strength of character. He is not responsible for bad things that happened during the war. Why must people shove it in his face as if he is? Respect. https://t.co/BZYqFL7B5v

@edmnangagwa seems to have staked his presidency on changing stories like this. His #WEF18 address in #Davos today an opportunity.
But ultimately actions and delivery will determine reality; not words... https://t.co/9NxobGyH6j
The Declaration of Assets is a good idea. Nevertheless, unless it is robust and tight enough, it will fall into the category of symbolic gestures designed to placate a restless nation. #BSR view will be offered to assist government to plug the loopholes in this noble initiative.
Landed in #Davos for the @wef. This is the first time in history a Zimbabwean president has attended. My message is simple – the new #Zimbabwe is open for business, looking to the future, and ready to retake its place in the family of nations #WEF18#Davos2018
Grace Mugabe's sons stopped and have expensive luxury vehicles seized at border crossing to South Africa.
Allegedly smuggling the cars with cash out of Zimbabwe.
How times change...
