The 80 firefighters working the 27-acre #RedDirtCliffFire 5 miles SW of Burns reached 20% containment tonight. The fire has not grown in the past 24 hours. Crews were aided today by two single engine air tankers and two helicopters. No structures are currently threatened.

Firefighters are making good progress on the 27-acre #RedDirtCliffFire, seen in this photo from yesterday. Two helicopters, 2 single engine air tankers and about 40 firefighters have kept the fire from growing so far today. Cooler, partly cloudy weather also helped this morning.

Crews are responding to the 6-acre #RedDirtCliffFire with ground crews and aircraft about 5 miles southwest of Burns on BLM land in Eagle County. Six acres and growing. No immediate threat to structures.
