We are astonished and so proud of the @UCSHampstead Remove physicists. In the junior physics challenge, there were: 51 gold awards, 27 silver awards and 18 bronze awards.

This week Transitus @UCSHampstead physics students were lucky enough to listen to three talks delivered by PhD students at the Weizmann institute.

Students learnt about Bose-Einstein condensates, ion traps and attosecond science. A really interesting afternoon for all!

Another big week for enrichment at UCS with the Biology, Chemistry, DT and Physics Enrichment Week. This year's theme ties in with @ScienceWeekUK's theme of 'Growth'. Plenty to keep pupils busy from the Entry (Y7) to Sixth (Y13). Get involved! @UCSEnrichment

He won the Nobel prize for physics in 2020 for his revolutionary work on black holes.

Very many congratulations to David, Can & Ryan who have been awarded a “Gold” in Round 1 of the British Physics Olympiad.

David & Ryan have also been awarded a “Top Gold” award and are invited to participate in Round 2. All at @UCSHampstead are very proud of their achievements.

Excellent @UCSHampstead shell science club today; over 20 attendees taking part in a bridge building competition.
