Anthony Azekwoh is a distinguished contemporary artist and author from Lagos, Nigeria, who has uniquely integrated African folklore and mythology into his art and writing. This fusion allows him to tell powerful stories about his homeland, transformation, and broader cultural themes.

Azekwoh is no stranger to change, having transitioned from a purely literary background to teach himself visual arts, ultimately forgoing formal education to immerse himself fully in his creative pursuits. He adeptly moves between digital and traditional art forms, and has expanded into sculpting to explore immortalization and cultural representation.

Outside of his art, Anthony enjoys anime and singing.
