Proud Northumbrian. Formerly HMI Ofsted, supporting early years settings, organisations, and providers to improve the quality of their early years provision.
@toryboypierce Keeping things as they are in this instance is not a victory or a vote of confidence in Brexit. What about the actual gains ... can you give a positive and actual positive benefit of Brexit? Nothing has been positive so far - a complete omnishambles #ToriesOut#BrexitShambles
Hunger doesn't take holidays. The government must commit to extending free school meal schemes for half term. Sign the petition: https://t.co/o25Nxh5D3Q

@gibbins_kim@andy4wm Kim - together with @Harborne_Jayne and @Quinton_Kate I wrote to the Education Secretary about this earlier this week. Providers, staff and parents need urgent answers and reassurance.
If we can afford £4 million to subsidise food and alcohol for MPs who earn over £80,000, then we can afford to pay for a proper lunch for school children.
Child poverty is a political choice - a direct result of Tory policy and determination to roll back the state. @BorisJohnson are you feeling proud of your achievements? Privatisation and profiteering from the misery of children - #JohnsonHasFailedTheNation
"I've made a living out of making meals from thin air and hope - but you can't, you literally can't"
@BootstrapCook has expressed their outrage at the food parcels which have been sent to families as part of the free school meals scheme.

I have submitted my application to volunteer with Shropshire’s Rapid Testing and Vaccination programme. We need to do what we can to overcome the spread of the disease - not because of hypocritical Govt and the totally inept @MattHancock - but because it is the right thing to do.
@BorisJohnson@MattHancock prioritise teachers, childminders and other early years professionals, and children attending schools and early years setting for vaccine. This will help reduce infection rates and keep children and adults safe.
Locate vaccine testing stations in schools and nurseries - mass vaccination of children and teachers could be completed in a matter of days. @BorisJohnson@MattHancock
Here is the mantra for tomorrow vaccine debate courtesy of Henry Ford
“Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.” One voice to get #earlyyears on the essential vaccine list
Calling all parents and carers - how about we all contact Ofsted and let them know about their child’s school, childminder, nursery and Pre-school. Tell Ofsted how wonderful teachers and early years professionals are doing a brilliant job in almost impossible conditions.
Am definitely going to be contacting Ofsted tomorrow to let them know about my daughters' schools. They need to be aware of how hard every single member of staff is working, in almost impossible conditions.
