When each one of us was given an equal opportunity to become a doctor. Nevertheless, worse ranks getting better seats, how is that equality?

Every single one of my batchmates and I proudly earned our medical degrees. We absorbed the same knowledge, conquered the same challenges, and triumphed through identical courses. Yet, it's baffling to witness some of them reaping the rewards of reservation solely due to (1)

[Uday Modi @udaymodi941]

their affiliation with a specific caste. It's time we ignite a dialogue about meritocracy and fairness in post-graduate exams, unearthing the disparities that caste-based reservations often sow in the fertile fields of education (2)

@inter_nist @talk2anuradha It's so sad to see people with ranks 10-20times worse than me, getting 10-20 times better seats while I'm stuck, grasping at straws, struggling even with a reasonably good rank to get even a decent college
