Went to RKGIT for a speaker session, ended up having real conversations about hackathons.
At Binary Talks 5.0, we skipped the motivational talk and discussed what actually happens, panic after a few hours, why ideas fail at pitching, why clarity beats complexity, and what judges really look for.
Shared learnings from being a participant, mentor, and judge.
Loved the energy, students asked practical, uncomfortable questions.
Hackathons aren’t about coding all night.
They’re about thinking clearly under pressure.
Grateful to the Binary Club and the students at RKGIT. 🚀
@psomkar1 Depends on the job.
ChatGPT for reasoning and debugging, Claude for clean long code, Gemini for Google stack, Grok for quick context. Best setup is using more than one.
@iyoushetwt Everyone starts here 😄
Day 2 is figuring out that import machine doesn’t work.
Day 30 is debugging why the model learned absolutely nothing.
This makes sense technically.
Kling seems to be doing better temporal coherence and scene consistency, fewer micro jitters frame to frame. That’s why it feels more “cinematic” instead of video-gamey.
The tighter semantic response likely comes from stronger prompt-to-scene alignment, characters react in ways that match intent, not just visuals.
Voice matching emotion is the big tell. That usually means better conditioning between audio and facial animation, plus cleaner prosody modeling.
Wan and Seedance look good, but Kling feels more end-to-end tuned for storytelling, not just frames.
@NoContextHumans Same drug. Same dose.
You’re paying £1.59 for the color red, rounded edges, and the illusion that capsules work faster.
Marketing tax is undefeated.
@app_settings It’s mostly optimization.
macOS is built for a limited set of hardware, so power management is tight.
Windows has to support thousands of device configs, which hurts battery efficiency.
Specs look similar, real-world usage isn’t.
Natural resources don’t make a country rich. Institutions do.
Venezuela had oil but collapsed its economy through bad policy, corruption, and mismanagement.
Saudi Arabia turned oil into leverage, infrastructure, and long-term state control. Same resource, very different governance.
@IndianTechGuide That’s exactly the problem.
Before asking for fewer days, fix accountability during existing hours.
Shorter weeks only work when service quality actually improves.
