He bought a residential house worth ₹2.1 crore.

At the time of selling the shares, he owned only one residential house, which made him eligible for the exemption.

Tax saved: Nearly ₹5 lakh

Your attempt to pressure Modi Sarkar not to pass FCRA bill is understandable. The bill will authorise Bharat Sarkar to confiscate the assets of missionaries if their license is cancelled. The bill will create statutory mechanism for handling assets when an organization's FCRA registration is cancelled, surrendered, expires, or is not renewed. CONgress too has opposed the bill overwhelmingly.

Does US really think it can pressure Bharat not to go ahead with the bill? Trump seems to have forgotten that today's Bharat is ruled by PM .@narendramodi Ji led Modi Sarkar & not by Spineless CONgress that used to compromise Bharat's interests on every occasion.
