Minister Dr. Maryam Mariya spoke at the "Seeds for the Future" program event, joined by the Ambassador of China to the Maldives, H.E. Wang Lixin, and the Country Director of Huawei Maldives, Mr. Chen Keyang. The partnership between the Maldives and Huawei aims to empower youth through education in advanced technologies like 5G, AI, and Cloud. Dr. Mariya praised the program for fostering future leaders and highlighted Huawei's commitment to inclusivity, ensuring at least one-third of participants are women. She also emphasized the importance of global partnerships in building a modern, digitally empowered education system in the Maldives.
