@StoicFever@SiddharthKG7 The movie was supposed to be from the perspective of a few characters. Also, very few Indian soldiers were part of the British Expeditionary Force at the early stages of the war, especially Dunkirk. There were soldiers from other British colonies as well.
@SiddharthKG7 The scene where they quote from our holy book offended Indians. Though I believe it wasn't intentional at all from Nolan, just a misplaced screenplay.
@t_1000____ If they toned down the deshbhakti and feminism of Chak De, it would be a decent film to watch even today. As an adult, watching Lagaan seems like watching a 3 hour TMKOC episode.
@alanwilkins22 It's not like Argentina equalized right after the disallowed goal. Egypt were 2-0 up again, yet their defence allowed Argentina back into the game. Even if the goal had not been disallowed, Egypt would have still been in defensive mode and not tried to score the third goal.
@Starboy2079 To be able to do the Chola oar rowing or the Rajput sword salute, India first needs to achieve something that makes the World take notice. Do not just blame the liberals.
@AgentSaffron England is semi-African. The only teams with pure descent are Norway, Argentina and Morocco, although Norway seems to have a couple of Africans. And God forbid Morocco wins this WC.
@Tim_Clif India owes their success in recent years only to one player, Bumrah. Shami, maybe, to an extent. When our star studded batting lineup failed, both these guys used to make up for it.
@CommanMan777589 Didnโt get the chance to watch any of the Dhurandhar movies yet, but if it is ultimately about that fraud Shifu, i won't bother watching it in my lifetime ever.
@mediacrooks India will take football seriously the day when Pakistan somehow qualifies for FIFA WC (which is also a distant possibility and might require divine intervention). Pakistan is the bare minimum baseline and Indians are happy to compare with them and think we are developing.
