A Mini Marathon was conducted by #IndianArmy at Karu on 01 Sep 2024 on the occasion of #SilverJubilee of #FireFuryCorps. The event witnessed participation of more than 600 children from 10 schools from Leh in the 5 KM run with the theme of Fit India & Catch Them Young.

GOC #TrishulDivision flagged off the event & felicitated the winners.

A Helping Hand to Stranded Tourists

Responding to a distress call from police at #Tangtse late night on 12 May, soldiers of Trishul Division swung into action & rescued nine tourists including two ladies in two vehicles stranded in heavy snowfall & bone chilling cold at the icy heights of Chang La by midnight.

The tourists with low SPO2 levels were provided immediate medical care & refreshments at the #IndianArmy Post and further escorted to Leh.

Trishul Division organised a Medical Camp in #VibrantVillage Shyok, #Ladakh.

65 community members benefitted from the camp which also included medical advice on basic lifestyle diseases and other ailments.
