@dawgUW7@NFan85@Bookie_44@CoachWillHarris I support Bookie 100% and all other dawgs who are striving for bigger things. If my tweet offended him in any way, then he can defend himself. If giving Bookie credit for his work is offensive to you, then that’s on you. Glad we could talk about it. #gohuskies
@dawgUW7@NFan85@Bookie_44@CoachWillHarris Perhaps it was. However adults with imaginary friends is also pointless. The way that “belief” can lead people to think and act as if supernatural powers control their lives is detrimental to society as a whole. He’s a man and a leader. No one else controls his destiny but him.
@UWFMAC@dawgUW7@Bookie_44@CoachWillHarris Weird energy is believing a god cares about the NFL draft. Work hard. Earn it. Bookie is doing that. Go bookie. YOU did it. No one else.
@dawgUW7@Bookie_44@CoachWillHarris I understand your argument. He’s free to believe in anything he wants. Hope those “hands” work out. Basing life’s successes or failures on unprovable deity’s is certainly one way to do it…
@dawgUW7@Bookie_44@CoachWillHarris First, he’s an adult. Second, when a “narrative” is unprovable, then why give it credence? I’m giving Bookie credit for his success, not a god. You Can thank an imaginary teapot if that floats your boat. His success is not supernatural. It’s based on hard work.
@dawgUW7@Bookie_44@CoachWillHarris You’re right! You don’t. But my tweet is “real” in that it’s exists. I didn’t judge anyone. I DO support the man. I didn’t ask for your input either. 🤝 If you’re gonna thank a “god” for success, then you better blame him for your failures.
@dawgUW7@Bookie_44@CoachWillHarris I certainly do not have to respect beliefs. I respect the person and the effort put forth to become successful. Hard work is the evidence for success, not a supernatural being. “Exceptional beliefs require exceptional evidence.”
@nicholasrfish We need to empower ALL people with knowledge and the ability, at a young age, to defend themselves against religious discrimination. We need more resources and discourse from public officials. Call @magnabosco
