@online_te I wonder if it is a „catch for all“ in case the bank would do something that would require a second factor down the line, but the system is not build for asking for extra security in an in-between step. Totally agree on the security fatigue though

@MarcTech1996 @SnazzyQ Does the same apply to the fastening of batteries, though? We see the same adhesive usage for MacBook batteries, where weight is of less concern. Non-retina MacBook Pro batteries actually used to be fixed in place by screws, making repairs a breeze
@SnazzyQ With all the time and precision needed to remove adhesive when repairing Apple products, I am genuinely curious how much of that is based on necessity, and how much malicious discouragement of self-repair or rather lazy product design 🧐
