Meet Asya Lukin from the UELAA selection panel!
Asya Lukin is a painter and stop-motion filmmaker. The subject of her works is mainly connected to everyday life events. When describing her work, she says ‘generally my work starts from observation.
However the need for emphasising the emotional content of the subject often leads me to rework my observational sketches until I find the most intense tune, colour, movement or face expression that conveys an unseen implication of the scene that I paint or animate.
