spt smg = best astro collab in the world. Jared got to show us extremely exciting first images from JWST this morning - couldn’t ask for a better way to close out a great week of science. Special thanks to @FlatironCCA for hosting us!
Grad students Sidney Lower and Jared Cathey flew to New York this week to attend the South Pole Telescope Sub-Millimeter Galaxies meeting. First picture shows Jared talking about JWST NIRCam data; second shows the two of them on the rooftop of the Flatiron Institute.
One more @NSF REU summer program concluded at UF Astro. We couldn't be happier to host students from many different states, for the first time in person. We are very proud of their research work, and their amazing final presentations.
