Week 16 - 2000 (10-5)
TB 38 STL 35
This is widely considered the greatest regular season game in Buccaneers history, as it should be. The game had it all. Huge plays on offense, takeaways and big hits on defense, back and forth scoring, a combined 9 Hall of Famers, primetime television when MNF on ABC was peak and two of the best teams in the NFL battling it out in a rematch of the 1999 NFC Championship game. I’ve charted “highlight” plays for nearly every game in Buccaneers history, which sure is subjective and yes reg season games do not hold the same value as Super Bowls/Playoff games but when you’re strictly talking number of “highlight" plays, I promise this game clears all. It's basically 3 hours of non-stop highlights from both teams. Jealous of the folks who were there that night.
When MLB great, Kenny Lofton, left Arizona he was the schools all-time steals leader
Lofton attended Arizona on a basketball scholarship. The Wildcats made it to the Final Four in 1988. He did not join the school's baseball team until his junior year
Insane athlete
On what Lavonte David means to the @Buccaneers—in the draft room, there's this mural. It's a reminder of what the scouts are looking for. For years, few knew who the silhouette was of. A few years ago, David got emotional when he was told he is “that man”.
True franchise icon.
Belmont is getting a brilliant basketball mind in Evan Bradds. The Belmont alum will continue in his role at Duke until the end of the season.

Don’t look now but the Cedars are 2-0 thru the first two. Make it 3-0 and I think we have a story on our hands with Lebanon coming back into the discussion. Continue to be impressed, even afar, from where this program has come from just a couple years ago.
