From the moment true freshman Nick Chubb lost his shoe and still found the end zone in that 2014 smackdown against Clemson, we knew we had something special. When the NCAA shamefully suspended Todd Gurley, Chubb stepped in and we didn’t miss a beat. The kid from Cedartown was the real deal.
Nobody that I can remember left it all on the field more than Chubb did. That 2015 Tennessee injury…we all thought that was it. But we were wrong. He came back stronger than ever.
This photo still gets all of #DawgNation emotional because we knew just how much it meant to this duo here. What Chubb and Sony Michel did together was truly iconic. He may not have won a national title while at #UGA, but he’s a Damn Good Dawg and an inspiration to Georgia fans everywhere.
Congratulations on an amazing career. Both college and NFL.
And thanks for the memories. #GoDawgs ❤️
