Let's end this cycle of killings.
The killings in Ungushi, Sokoto, where 32 Nigerians reportedly lost their lives, and the recent attacks in Ukum, Benue, where more lives have been lost and several others injured, are deeply painful.
These are not just numbers. They are parents, children, farmers, and breadwinners whose lives have been cut short, leaving families devastated and communities in fear.
We cannot continue with a cycle of killings, condolences, promises, and inaction. The government at all levels must prioritise addressing insecurity.
We need better intelligence, proactive security, swift responses, protection for vulnerable communities, and the diligent prosecution of perpetrators.
The government must endeavour to protect the lives and property of its citizens. Nigerians should be able to sleep peacefully in their homes, travel safely on our roads, and go to their farms without fear.
I extend my condolences to the families and communities affected by these senseless killings. May God comfort the bereaved, may Almighty Allah forgive the departed, and may our nation find lasting peace.

Folawiyo Balogun is considered extremely dangerous. Anyone with information about his whereabouts, please contact the police using the numbers on the flyer.
For those of you blaming Naza because she dated a Yoruba man, or saying her “greed” and desire to be with a rich man is what got her killed, I really need you to understand how dangerous that line of thinking is.
There are serious allegations surrounding Fola that go far beyond Naza’s case. His name has been linked to the disappearance of men in Dubai. The men pictured in the second frame are among those reportedly missing, and their last known encounters were allegedly with Fola. There is so much information surrounding these cases that I don’t want to repeat anything I haven’t independently verified, but you can look up his name yourself.
According to Hakeem’s account, he left the apartment to buy something and returned to find Naza dead. He alleges that he was tied up, robbed of his jewellery, valuables and about $200,000, forced to turn off the CCTV, and that the attackers left with Naza’s body. There are still serious questions surrounding this account, and Hakeem remains in police custody.
None of this absolves Hakeem of anything. I have questions about his account too. But Naza’s death cannot become an excuse to blame her for being greedy, for dating a Yoruba man, or for choosing to be with someone wealthy.
And if you think only women can be victims of people like this, you’re wrong. A man can be a victim too. The people allegedly connected to Fola’s previous cases were men.
So stop turning Naza’s death into a morality tale about what she should have done differently.
The priority is finding the people the police are looking for and finding out what happened to Naza.
Please keep sharing Fola’s flyer. Someone knows where he is.
No matter the victim’s gender, no matter their tribe, no matter who they dated or how much money they had, nobody deserves to disappear.
Justice for Naza
JUSTICE FOR CHINAZA.
My friend Chinaza has been missing since June. For months, her family has been left with questions, uncertainty and the unbearable possibility that their daughter may never come home.
Chinaza was in Dubai when her boyfriend, Hakeem, asked her to come to Nigeria. They were together at his apartment when whatever happened to her happened. He is currently in police custody and has reportedly now confessed that Chinaza is dead, although his account of what happened remains deeply troubling.
He alleges that he and Chinaza were attacked by his friends, Folawiyo Balogun and Ajibola Obateru, who he claims took Chinaza away.
The police have released their names and photographs and are looking for them.
Please, if you know these men, have seen them, know where they stay, know where they work, know their friends, or have ANY information that could help the police locate them, please speak up. Contact the police using the numbers on the flyers.
Someone knows something.
They cannot have simply disappeared.
And this is why I am begging everyone who sees this to share it. Repost it. Put it on your WhatsApp status. Send it to your friends and family.
We only need this post to reach one person who knows where they are.
One person could give Chinaza’s family the answers they have been waiting months for.
Chinaza is not just a name on a missing-person flyer. She is someone’s daughter. Someone’s friend. Someone who was loved. She left Dubai and came to Nigeria because she trusted someone she had known for years.
Now her loved ones don’t even know where she is.
Imagine not knowing where your child is. Imagine waking up every morning wondering what happened to her. Imagine having no body to bury, no final goodbye, no answers.
I cannot imagine that pain.
Please, help us bring Chinaza home.
If she is gone, let her family at least have the dignity of knowing what happened to her and giving her a proper burial.
No repost is too small. No share is insignificant.
Please help us find Naza.
JUSTICE FOR CHINAZA. 💔
