Demons don’t tremble just because you said “in Jesus’ name”

They’ve heard His name before. They’ve seen it misused, mishandled, and thrown around by people who never truly surrendered to it.

What makes them tremble is when they recognize that you’ve actually been walking with Him. When your life carries evidence of intimacy with Him. When Heaven is not just in your vocabulary, but literally in your veins. When they see that you’re not just name dropping the King of Kings but you’re also backed by Him.

Because when you’ve been in the secret place
When you’ve been tried and tested,
crushed and consecrated,
His presence goes with you.

And that’s what demons respond to.
Not the sound of His name alone...

But that undeniable authority that comes from having a real relationship with the Lord, from being submitted to Him daily, a life that’s been sealed in covenant not just with words, but with wounds. A life laid down, surrendered in the secret place, proven in the fire, and marked by obedience when no one was clapping. A life that didn’t just say yes to Jesus, but stayed yes when it cost everything.

That’s why they tremble.

They don’t bow to noise. They bow to the One you’re walking with. And when they recognize who sent you? They don’t argue. They leave... expeditiously!

Tulsi Gabbard just described the actual operating system of Washington and it’s somehow even dumber and more insulting than the conspiracy versions.

She needed one printed document for a 10 a.m. Oval Office meeting with the President. A mid-level staffer ... detailed from another agency ... decided he didn’t like what was on it, printed it anyway, then locked it in his desk and refused to hand it over. Her chief of staff went down. Her general counsel went down. Both got told to pound sand until the guy’s real boss at his home agency finally gave permission.

That’s the “deep state.” Not some secret society in a basement. Just some nobody with a desk drawer and a God complex who genuinely believed his personal veto outranked the Director of National Intelligence and the elected President of the United States.

This is what Gabbard means when she says they “thrive in the gaps between elections.” The voters pick a direction every four years. The permanent class decides which parts of that direction are even allowed to reach the Resolute Desk. They control the files. They control the information flow. And they’ve been doing it across administrations for decades because the only thing they actually answer to is each other.

The rest of us are just supposed to pretend the elections are real while these people quietly decide what the winner is permitted to know and act on.

Sure, I have one, but my remark was directly responding to Wilfred’s post. I’m saying that if there is a bill that is trying to legislate guns, magazines, and ammunition all being kept in separate safes within your own home, then those firearms are practically worthless for self defense.

Therefore citizens are not able to exersize their 2A rights freely, they are infringed immensely.
