Algo executed today. Here is exactly what happened.
MNQ opened, chopped sideways for an hour,
then broke above the ORB high at 9:40.
No chase on the breakout candle.
The algo waited. Price pulled back,
held the level, confirmation printed.
Entry at 9:44. Long 5 MNQ at 29041.
HTF bias was bullish. Level held.
Every condition met. Trade fired.
Price ran 100 plus points.
TP1 hit. Floor exit closed the rest.
Net result: +768.50.
Total time in trade: under 10 minutes.
Total screen time from me: zero.
I was working my day job while this happened.
Yesterday the same algo took zero trades
because the market gave no valid retest.
Today it gave one. The algo took it.
No emotion on red days.
No excitement on green days.
Just rules executing.
This is what patience looks like when it is coded.
@UGQuant
You trade ORB retests perfectly.
PDH, PDL, PMH, PML all correct.
Higher timeframe bias aligned.
Entry confirmation clean.
Still lose money consistently.
Why?
I know the answer. It changed everything
for me and my algo.
But first I want to hear from the best.
@Desi_Trade@BrandonTrades@MrTopStep
@DoinTrades @CordovaTrades@Romeotpt@RealVIXX@tradermike1234
You can trade ORB retests perfectly.
Read PDH, PDL, PMH and PML correctly.
Still blow your account.
Most traders are missing one thing.
What do you think it is?
@UGQuant
BTC is at 61,000 today.
Down 51% from its all time high of 128,000.
Everyone is panicking and selling.
Institutions are quietly buying.
RSI at 26. Historically oversold.
60,000 is the line that matters.
This is not a sell zone.
This is a buy zone.
Every major dip in BTC history
has been an accumulation opportunity.
This one is no different.
Not chasing. Not panicking.
Just watching the higher timeframe.
It is telling the same story it always does.
Patient buyers win.
Panic sellers regret.
Not financial advice. Just my read.
@UGQuant
MNQ dropped 1,300 points today. π
My algo took ZERO trades.
Hereβs exactly why π
9:50AM β V-shape recovery at open
10:10AM β Broke ORB low hard
10:10AM onwards β Pure waterfall
Every retail traderβs instinct:
βSHORT IT! Easy money!β π€
My algoβs response:
Complete silence. π€
Why?
ORB low broke β but NEVER retested.
My rule is simple:
β No retest = No trade. Ever.
Taking a short without retest =
chasing a waterfall =
pure FOMO. π
And FOMO is how bad habits are born.
One FOMO trade becomes two.
Two becomes ten.
Ten becomes a blown account.
Iβve seen it. Iβve lived it.
Never again. π
Rules exist for exactly these days β
the days that LOOK obvious.
Because obvious = trap for retail.
No retest. No trade.
Patience. Consistency.
Profitability. π€

Quick question for NQ/MNQ traders π
When your setup isnβt perfect β
do you:

Is there a holy indicator that tells you
exactly when to Buy or Sell?
Unfortunately β NO. β
Hereβs the real trading formula:
π SMA & Indicators = The Vehicle
π§ Your Experience = The Driver
β½ Patience = The Fuel
Indicators show the road.
Experience steers the wheel.
But without patience β
you never reach the destination.
Simple truth. Hard to master. π

This post hit different for me personally.
I had a losing streak so bad
I almost quit entirely.
$10,000 β $4,400.
55% gone.
Someone elseβs algo. My money. My pain.
I could have quit.
Most people do at that point.
Instead I did exactly what you said:
π Reviewed every single losing trade
π Found the clues in the data
π§ Made the adjustments
πͺ Kept moving forward
But I went one step further.
I removed the element most likely
to repeat the mistakes:
The human. π€
Built my own NQ/MNQ algo from scratch.
Coded the lessons into rules.
Every clue from every loss β
permanently fixed in the logic.
Algorithms donβt repeat emotional mistakes.
They learn them once.
Then never again.
26 days live. Still profitable.
Still reviewing. Still improving. π
The losing streak didnβt end my career.
It built it.
@UGQuant π±
My algo had zero trades today.
Best decision it made all week. π€
Market was choppy.
No valid ORB retest setup.
Higher timeframe bias unclear.
So it did nothing.
No FOMO.
No forced entry.
No loss.
Retail traders lost money today
trying to make money.
My algo made nothing today
trying to execute perfectly.
Monday we go again. π
Perfect execution > daily profits.
Every single time.
#UGQuant #AlgoTrading #TradingMindset
#NQFutures #ProcessOverProfit
This single sentence would have saved me $5,600.
I spent 6 months trying to make money every day.
Lost 55% trusting someone elseβs algo.
Revenge traded. Forced setups. Chased moves.
Then I flipped the mindset completely:
β Stop: βHow much can I make today?β
β Start: βDid my algo execute perfectly today?β
Everything changed.
Some days = zero trades.
Choppy market? Algo sits flat.
No setup? No trade. Period.
Today was one of those days. π€
Zero trades. Zero losses. Perfect execution.
The profit takes care of itself
when the process is right.
26 days. 55.56% win rate.
Not chasing. Just executing. π
@UGQuant π±
This is exactly why I stopped trading manually.
I understood the mechanics perfectly:
β Structure β higher highs, higher lows
β Liquidity β where stops are resting
β Supply & demand β institutional zones
β Displacement β real vs fake moves
β Inducement β retail trap confirmation
I could READ the story beautifully.
But I couldnβt EXECUTE it consistently.
Emotion kept rewriting the ending. π
So I did something different:
I coded the story into rules.
Let the algo read every chapter.
Remove the emotional narrator entirely.
Now the market tells its story.
My algo just listens and acts. π€
Understanding mechanics = necessary.
Removing the human = the real edge.
26 days. 55.56% win rate.
Mechanics coded. Emotions removed. π
