Somaliland is taking its fight for international recognition to the UN.

On Wednesday, 23 September, Somaliland President Abdirahman Irro will address a public rally at Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza, New York, right in front of the UN, to press the case for the world body to address the issue of Somaliland.

The peaceful rally has been authorised by the New York law enforcement agencies and will be attended by pro-Somaliland recognition activists from across the United States and rest of the world.
