3 full months left of intern year and though exhausted, I am so grateful that I get to be working my dream job and am baffled at how far I’ve already come as a physician in the past 9 months

When people ask “what have Palestinians done for [insert identity group]” stop responding with the extensive history of Palestine’s solidarity because it normalizes the idea that solidarity is a transaction and that victims of a genocide should be cared about for what they give.
Talk to women in medicine, and almost every one of us knows about an attending that has harassed a trainee. I was harassed intern year, and it turned out the attending's behavior was KNOWN to most female residents who would skip his clinic. Reporting to HR was stressful and scary
