My childhood friend died from sickle cell disease. She took her last breath right in front of me when we were only 13 years old. Knowing that a cure is now changing lives fills my heart with joy. May future generations never have to endure what so many families have suffered.
ben & jerry (ben cohen & jerry greenfield) tried to boycott their ice cream from being sold in israel, so unilever went behind their back and sold a portion of the company to an israeli licensee against their wishes. israel is selling ben & jerry's through corporate domination

In an interview with Carlos King, Durand Bernarr discusses the debate surrounding "fem tops" in the gay community and speaks about his own experience.
"I've had a guy tell me, as far as us being intimate, that he couldn't see me, penetrating him. Like, 'you ain't gonna be throwing no glitter on my back.' Whoa, glitter? Really? Or it's like, we need somebody manly because anything girly, I don't like that. You can't satisfy me. That's not just, it's just my preference. No, it's not just preference."

They didn't just deny it, they relentlessly targeted anyone who expressed dissent against the genocide, they ran deranged coverage of peaceful protests, and they openly justified and backed severe crimes against humanity that were being committed daily, on camera. Pure evil.
Took a philosophy class that covered assisted dying. One guy wanted to die because he couldn't afford his disability equipment so his life was shit and he had no independence. Apparently "why don't they just give him the equipment instead of killing him" was the wrong answer?????
Nobody tells you exclusion wounds make you unintentionally callous toward others’ positive feelings about you since you’ve never learned to believe on an intuitive level that a person might actually be hurt by your absence or lack of affection. Example: ghosting like it’s nothing
