The ๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ฆ๐๐ญ๐ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ convened its second workshop, Advancing Climate Pathways: Heat and Air Pollution, bringing together subnational government representatives, technical experts, and partners from across #Asia.
The session focused on how cities can translate emerging evidence on heat and air pollution into actionable, on-ground strategies. A keynote by Dr. @pallavipnt , @HEIresearch, highlighted how combined exposure to heat and air pollution is increasing health risks, reinforcing the need for integrated data systems and stronger surveillance.
City representatives from #Indonesia and the #Philippines shared updates on ongoing efforts, from heat action planning and vector control to strengthening community-level health systems. Contributions from partners, including @SunwayCPH, @CivicDatalab , and @CISDI_ID, further highlighted scalable approaches for building climate-health resilience.
The workshop also saw the official launch of the Asia Climate Health Resilience Hub website, a platform to access resources, workshop outputs, and knowledge products, and to support regional collaboration.

This question anchored the third convening of the Asia Climate Health Resilience Hub (CHRH), Integrating Diverse Data Systems: From Data to Decision, which brought together subnational governments, technical experts, and partners from across Asia.
Over two days, participants heard from experts including Dr Desiree Narvaez (former UNICEF Headquarters), Patota Tambunan (HIEx Sandbox), Nikhilesh Unnikrishnan (CatalystX), Aditya Pangaria (CatalystX), and Aastha Sethi (United for Global Mental Health), alongside city representatives and partner organizations working at the intersection of climate and health.
At the core of the workshop was a hands-on exercise that challenged participating cities to map their own data-to-decision pathways, from identifying priority climate-health risks and existing data assets to defining triggers for action, decision-making processes, and institutional accountability.
A key insight emerged across all discussions: the challenge facing cities is rarely the absence of data. Rather, it lies in fragmented governance, disconnected systems, and the lack of clear pathways that translate climate and health signals into timely action. As the Asia CHRH cohort moves forward, the focus will now shift toward financing, scaling, and developing investment-ready pathways for climate-health resilience.

Creating lasting impact means supporting cities beyond the conversation.
For Dina Hadfina Mulyani from @uidindonesia one of the biggest takeaways was the importance of sustaining the momentum generated over the two days, ensuring local governments have the space, support, and partnerships needed to turn their commitments into action.
Hear her reflections on the value of collaboration and why continued engagement is essential for strengthening climate-health resilience.
